DirtX Round 9 - Central Coast

DirtX RD9 and we rolled up the freeway to Central Coast Junior Motorcycle Club, for our second hit out on the Dirt Track. Another great day with over 130 entries, including some local riders who put on some competition for our riders.

With such large numbers we had to run heats in a number of our grades, and as a result the day ran a little slower than expected. As a result, we were unable to switch to long track in the afternoon, as this required another full practice session. Its always a tough call to alter the program on the day, though in the best interests of all we hope we made the right call. Overall we got through 5 rounds of racing, and in total over 100 session (practice and racing) on the track throughout the day.

A few of our riders really stood out on the day, with Jordan (50cc), Corey & Anaru (85cc), Brodie (125/250) and Wayne (Seniors) really mixing it up with the local riders. Well done guys....

Again, a big thank you to the team at Central Coast for making it such a great day. Nothing is a problem for those guys, and they work all day to make sure we have a great day. They even nailed the weather....

Our next DirtX round is Sunday 5th September at Oakdale. For juniors there is also the Blacktown Minikhana interclub this coming weekend, so we hope to see a good roll up of members there.
