DirtX Round 8 - Appin

Another great day at Appin with some great racing across all grades. Learning our lesson from round 1, we were tempted to water the track through the day, however we managed to get away without it, albeit a little dusty late in the afernoon.

A big thanks you to our photographers on the day. I have updated the photo galleries on the website with a heap of photos from RD8. I have heaps more that are not on the website, so if you can not find a great action shot of yourself, let me know and I will either get it on the website or email it you.

I also have a a heap from Cessnock and other rounds that I am sorting through and will get on the website at some stage.

Our next round is at Central Coast on Sunday 22 Aug and the format will be dirt track. Back protectors are required and can be pruchased at a relatively low cost (around $40). See the details in the calendar entry, I have added some links for suppliers.

Alternatively, the club has purchased some protectors and these can be hired for $10 on the day (shared hire with other riders)
